Description
The Wine Department Specialist creates a welcoming and safe customer environment, answers product questions, recommends and sells wine and beer, assists with food pairings, supports wine tastings, maintains case temperatures and safety procedures, and helps meet department sales and quality goals. The role requires wine and beer experience, retail experience, a second language, high school education or equivalent, the ability to handle stressful situations, basic math knowledge, and the ability to pass a wine test once employed.
