The Wire EDM Programmer/Operator at LSI SOLUTIONS® programs, sets up, and operates wire EDM machines and other machine tools to produce precision components. This role involves working from part prints, process sheets, quality documentation, and CAD models, while maintaining a safe and continuously improving work environment focused on organizational goals. Additional Information

Minimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Completion of trade school preferred.
Required Previous Experiences: 0-2 years of machine operation experience.
3-5 years’ minimum experience programming wire EDM’s.
6+ years’ minimum experience programming, setting-up, and operating wire EDM’s.
Preferred Qualifications: Basic shop math skills.
Ability to read blueprints, work instructions, and inspection criteria.
Able to run variety of shop equipment.
Must be proficient in the use of standard inspection equipment.
Basic understanding of GD&T.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Experience working with close tolerances in a variety of metals.
Strong understanding of GD&T.
Capable of programing complex tool paths.
CAM-I program experience preferred.
Capable of programming, setting-up, and running EDM independently.
Capable of writing and editing complex EDM programs without supervision.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Capable of coaching and mentoring.
