Description
The Wireless MAC System Architect will define and develop the architecture, specifications, and performance models for connectivity IP and MAC subsystems in custom wireless silicon for Apple ecosystems. The role includes MAC-layer and embedded DSP algorithm development, performance analysis and simulation, cross-domain innovation, and support for digital hardware, firmware, verification, and product delivery. It requires at least seven years of industry experience in wireless MAC hardware architecture or micro-architecture, along with expertise in wireless standards, communications systems, hardware-software partitioning, firmware, and SoC development.
