Description
Amazon is hiring a Wireless Network Development Engineer to provide technical leadership for the evolution of next-generation wireless networks supporting autonomous robotics, industrial IoT, sensors, drones, location tags, and other mobile devices across global fulfillment and operations sites. The role involves designing and deploying scalable, resilient, secure, and cost-optimized wireless solutions; investigating customer impacts; evaluating and certifying technologies; automating infrastructure testing and operations; mentoring support teams; and providing global 7x24 escalation support. Candidates need strong Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, networking, RF, IP, and wireless automation experience, along with a relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent hands-on experience. The position is available in Nashville, Tennessee; Austin, Texas; and Bellevue, Washington, with annual base salaries ranging from $134,400 to $184,000 depending on location.
