Cal Poly is hiring a full-time, on-site Wireless Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise networking infrastructure, including software-defined networks, DNS, firewalls, application load balancers, Wi-Fi, VoIP, LAN/WAN, cloud services, and campus telephone cabling. The role also administers security appliances, monitors and documents network issues, and collaborates with technical teams and vendors on network development and process improvements. Candidates need relevant enterprise networking experience, knowledge of routing protocols, hybrid-cloud configuration experience, and familiarity with automation and network management tools; a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required. The advertised hiring range is $96,504 to $115,332 per year, with health, dental, and vision insurance and other benefits.
