Cal Poly is hiring a full-time, on-site Wireless Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise networking infrastructure, including software-defined networks, DNS, firewalls, application load balancers, Wi-Fi, VoIP, LAN/WAN, cloud services, and campus telephone cabling. The role also administers security appliances, supports virtualized and system-wide networks, and collaborates with technical teams and vendors on network development and process improvements. Candidates need relevant enterprise networking experience, knowledge of routing protocols, hybrid-cloud configuration experience, and proficiency with automation and network management tools; a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required. The advertised hiring range is $96,504 to $115,332 per year, with health, dental, and vision insurance and other benefits.
