Apple is hiring a Wireless RF Hardware Engineer to perform system engineering for wireless regulatory compliance of new consumer products. The role involves translating emission requirements into chipset and platform requirements, debugging and analyzing RF/wireless hardware failures, reviewing PCB, flex, grounding, and shielding designs, collaborating with cross-functional teams, defining emission test plans, and implementing software and firmware features needed for compliance. The position requires a bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of relevant experience, with industry experience in RF/antenna system development, commercial cellular or WLAN products, regulatory conformance, RF layout review, and simulation tools.
