Skydio is hiring a Wireless Software Engineer to develop and optimize wireless software and firmware for autonomous drones operating in challenging, interference-heavy, long-range environments. The role focuses on WLAN, LTE, and 5G connectivity, mesh networking, OFDMA-based communication, secure data transmission, system-level algorithms, and performance tuning. Candidates should have strong knowledge of wireless protocols, firmware development, C++, C, and Python, along with cross-functional collaboration skills. The position offers an annual base salary of $147,500 to $210,000, equity, health insurance, paid leave, holiday pay, and a 401K savings plan.
