The Wireless Systems Design Validation Engineer will develop and execute test methodologies for wireless and PHY systems across silicon development and deployment cycles. The role collaborates with PHY, MAC, RF, system integration, and test engineers to define test requirements, troubleshoot issues, analyze performance, maintain validation infrastructure, and ensure compliance with parameters such as power accuracy, spurs, EVM, sensitivity, desense, RF/baseband performance, MIMO, and coexistence. The position requires a bachelor's degree, strong wireless communication knowledge with an emphasis on WiFi, and programming skills in Python, Shell scripting, C++, or C#; advanced degrees, RF and baseband expertise, silicon bring-up experience, test automation, regulatory testing, and RF equipment proficiency are preferred.
