Description
The Estimator – Work Planner prepares detailed cost estimates for customer requests covering materials, labor, equipment, and other costs; evaluates and compares supplier and subcontractor quotations; and prepares customer quotations. The role collaborates with buyers and site management while maintaining external contact with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors. A bachelor's or master's degree in a construction-related field is required, while steel-structure experience is preferred, and the employer offers on-the-job training.
