Description
The Work Preparation Engineer in construction/mechanical engineering ensures that data, documents, materials, and components are available at the right time and place for projects. The role coordinates design engineering, procurement, warehousing, and assembly; compares bills of materials with warehouse stock; monitors long-lead items; inspects incoming goods; provides drawings and components; tracks material status; and develops simple tools. The position also involves adaptation designs for test-bench construction and requires technical drafting or product design training, CAD experience, and knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
