The role involves assessing new files, developing action plans and budgets, identifying pleading requirements, preparing discovery responses and managing document production, attending depositions and hearings, negotiating settlements, preparing for trial, and coordinating with paralegals and legal assistants. Candidates should have 2-3 years of workers' compensation defense experience, be licensed to practice law in Georgia, and demonstrate strong organization, attention to detail, multitasking ability, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
