The Workforce Development Specialist assists individuals with disabilities and other employment barriers in achieving employment goals by analyzing participant assessments, developing personalized action plans, providing job-search and interview support, conducting follow-up meetings, maintaining records, and reporting outcomes. The role requires a bachelor's degree in social work, human services, or a related field, case-management and direct-client-service experience, strong communication skills, Microsoft Office and database proficiency, and knowledge of labor-market trends. Preferred qualifications include workforce-development or employment-counseling experience, career-counseling certification, and knowledge of specific job markets.
