Description
Eversource is hiring one regular Protective Relay Technician to plan, perform, supervise, train, and evaluate work on the installation, acceptance testing, maintenance, and repair of protective relay systems and related power-control equipment. The role covers IEDs, electromechanical and solid-state relaying, power-line carrier, DTT, SCADA, IEC 61850, HMIs, DFRs, PLCs, pole-top reclosers, and RTUs, and requires an associate degree in electronic or engineering technology, at least three years of related experience, a valid driver’s license, and availability for emergency restoration and travel between Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New Hampshire. The position pays $62.87 per hour plus incentive and does not offer immigration-related sponsorship.
