Description
Eversource is hiring one regular Protective Relay Technician to plan, perform, supervise, train, and evaluate personnel on the installation, acceptance testing, maintenance, and repair of protective-relay systems and related power-control equipment. The role covers IEDs, electromechanical and solid-state relaying, power-line carrier, DTT, SCADA, IEC 61850, HMIs, DFRs, PLCs, pole-top reclosers, and RTUs, and requires an associate degree in electronic or engineering technology, at least three years of related experience, a valid driver’s license, and availability for emergency restoration and travel between Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New Hampshire. The position pays $62.87 per hour plus incentive and does not offer immigration-related sponsorship.
