Coherent Hamburg/ROFIN-SINAR Laser GmbH is hiring a Production Automation Engineer to support automation and optimization projects in its manufacturing environment. The role involves analyzing production processes, identifying improvement opportunities, implementing digital solutions, documenting processes, supporting Lean Management and continuous improvement, and collaborating with Production, Engineering, and other departments. Candidates should be pursuing studies in industrial, mechanical, production, automation, computer science, or a comparable field, have strong MS Office and Excel skills, and possess German and English proficiency; initial experience with data analysis, automation, or Lean methods is a plus. The position offers practical experience in an international manufacturing company, participation in automation and improvement projects, flexible working hours, and exposure to Lean Management and modern production processes.
