The role administers Microsoft 365 collaboration services and Entra identity and access management, implements security and governance controls, leads complex escalations and change assessments, maintains operational documentation, and mentors other engineers. It requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and typically 8+ years of related enterprise technology experience, with Microsoft 365, Entra, security governance, documentation, and technical leadership as core requirements.
