The Workshop Carpenter manufactures and assembles custom wood and PVC products, including frames, doors, and staircases, following provided plans. The role covers cutting, fitting, sanding, assembly, inspection, finishing, and occasional on-site installation. It requires carpentry training, proven workshop experience, traditional manufacturing and assembly skills, staircase design and manufacturing knowledge, precision, and reliable commuting; a Category B driving licence is an asset. Compensation is based on construction-sector pay scales, benefits include joint committee 124 allowances, and a permanent contract follows a successful temporary-work trial period.
