Description
Dennis Eagle is hiring a Workshop Chargehand for its Aldridge Service Centre. The role combines hands-on HGV and refuse-collection vehicle maintenance with fault finding, MOT preparation, chassis and body repairs, workshop coordination, and compliance with DVSA and company standards. It requires experience with commercial vehicles, diagnostic and problem-solving skills, knowledge of workshop regulations, a City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent qualification, and an HGV licence. The position offers 45 hours per week between 07:00 and 16:30 Monday to Friday, with a salary of £47,946.88–£49,587.88 per annum depending on experience, and flexible or hybrid working arrangements may be available.
