Workshop Controller at NXT Recruitment

NXT Recruitment is recruiting a Workshop Controller for a permanent, full-time automotive workshop in Carlisle. The role coordinates incoming jobs, allocates work to vehicle technicians, monitors utilisation and productivity, communicates with customers and service and parts departments, resolves issues, and helps achieve workshop targets. The position requires experience managing vehicle technicians or mechanics, strong leadership and organisational skills, and ideally previous vehicle technician or car mechanic experience. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:15am to 5:30pm, with alternate Saturday mornings paid at time and a half, and the salary is £30,000 to £32,000 plus the Saturday pay.
