Biffa is hiring a Workshop Manager for its Ipswich Depot to lead the maintenance and repair of a fleet of waste-collection vehicles and equipment, including vans, articulated units, and trailers. The role manages workshop operations, scheduling, compliance, health and safety, employee performance, documentation, fault diagnosis, and downtime control, while building relationships with operational depot teams. Candidates need a Level 3 HGV NVQ or equivalent, at least five years of workshop experience including three years in a supervisory or management role, an HGV licence, and strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
