Description
Foundational is hiring a Senior Optical Engineer in London for a full-time, on-site role. The position runs the workshop and builds hardware for satellite laser ranging stations, including machining, assembly, wiring, testing, equipment preparation, and shipping. Candidates should have workshop experience, manual machining and hand-tool skills, the ability to read engineering drawings, and basic electrical wiring skills; CNC machining, optical or cleanroom assembly, welding, fabrication, 3D printing, and an NVQ or HNC are preferred.
