Description
The Workshop Technician will own and operate a mechanical workshop supporting the rapid prototyping, repair, adaptation, and testing of physical hardware. Responsibilities include preparing and assembling mechanical and electromechanical prototypes, maintaining equipment, managing inventory and supplier follow-up, and operating machines such as FDM 3D printers and future SLS, laser-cutting, and CNC capabilities. The role requires a technical apprenticeship or degree in mechatronics, industrial mechanics, or a related field, hardware-building ability, inventory organization, independent work from technical documentation, and a valid van transport licence; English is required and German is a plus.
