Description
PA Consulting is hiring a Precision Machining Technician to work in its Prototyping Workshop, programming and manufacturing components with CNC mills and lathes and supporting prototyping through 3D printing technologies. The role involves collaborating with engineers, scientists, and designers on projects across consumer, medical, defence, food and beverage, packaging and other industries. Manual and CNC milling and turning, CADCAM, SolidWorks, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving are essential; 3D printing, EDM, test-rig design, precision assembly, pneumatic systems, testing, injection moulding, and modelmaking are desirable. Full training is provided, and the role may require a UK security clearance and background checks.
