The role involves welding, repairing, reinforcing, and modifying civil engineering machinery and equipment, hardfacing worn parts, preparing and assembling steel components, inspecting welds, and following technical instructions and safety rules. Candidates need welding or metal-construction training or equivalent experience, proven welding experience, MIG/MAG or shielded metal arc welding proficiency, technical-drawing skills, and a strong safety orientation.
