Description
The X-Ray Film Level 2 Inspector inspects industrial gas turbine castings and structural members for flaws, cracks, foreign materials, and process deviations using x-ray and film-processing equipment. The role includes equipment setup, calibration, performance checks, interpretation of inspection results, documentation, work-instruction development, and guidance of trainees and Level 1 personnel. It requires a high school diploma or general education degree, current or previous X-Ray film Level 2 certification, and at least four years of experience as a certified film Level 2 inspector. The starting rate is $38.38 per hour, with an increase to $42.64 after six months and a $1.00 per-hour shift premium for off shifts. Visa sponsorship is not available.
