Description
The Radiology Technologist produces high-quality diagnostic digital x-ray images, follows radiation-safety and documentation requirements, screens patients for contraindications, communicates with customers and radiologists, troubleshoots x-ray equipment and peripheral systems, and may train new technologists or patient coordinators. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent experience, an ARRT (R) and applicable state license, CPR certification, and completion of a radiology school for fixed-setting work; mobile-setting work may require at least one year of radiography or digital x-ray experience. The position offers a $2,500 sign-on bonus and may involve travel, patient transport, and exposure to radiation and bodily fluids.
