Description
The Radiologic Technologist performs X-ray examination procedures for University Orthopedics providers, prepares and identifies patients, selects appropriate anatomy and protocols, logs completed procedures, maintains equipment and examination rooms, and stocks supplies. The role requires two years of formal radiologic technology training, ARRT registration or pending registration, current CPR/BLS certification, knowledge of anatomy and radiology equipment, and the ability to communicate with patients of all ages. Customer service experience in a healthcare setting is preferred, prior orthopedic clinical experience is considered, and travel to additional sites may be required.
