Description
The X-Ray Technologist Basic Machine Operator (BMO) performs diagnostic orthopedic radiographic imaging in an outpatient orthopedic, primary care sports medicine, and chiropractic clinic setting. The role involves positioning patients, operating digital radiography equipment, following imaging protocols, maintaining radiation safety, documenting images in PACS and EMR systems, supporting workflow, and providing patient-centered service. A high school diploma or GED, basic life support, and at least one year of orthopedic x-ray technologist experience are required.
