Description
Expeditors is hiring a Yard Coordinator for its Transportation Operations Onsite team in the Atlanta hub network. The role oversees the organization and movement of trailers and containers across ATL warehouse yards, performs daily asset inventory checks, maintains equipment records in PINC, coordinates tagging and repairs, works with yard jockeys, monitors yard capacity and trailer utilization, and supports accurate equipment dispositions. Candidates need 1–2 years of transportation and logistics experience, strong communication and problem-solving abilities, proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Business tools, and preferably experience with yard, fleet, or load-planning systems. The position is primarily outdoors and involves daily travel among Atlanta-area facilities, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
