Description
The Yard Engineer will supervise fabrication, assembly, and erection of offshore jackets, topsides, modules, skids, structural steel, piping systems, pipe racks, and mechanical equipment. The role plans and monitors fabrication progress, manpower, productivity, and equipment deployment; coordinates with engineering, QA/QC, planning, procurement, logistics, and HSE teams; reviews drawings and material take-offs; and oversees welding, NDT, dimensional control, hydrotesting, mechanical completion, inspections, punch-list clearance, handovers, and turnover documentation. The position requires a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline and 8–15 years of experience in oil and gas fabrication yards, EPC projects, or offshore and onshore construction projects.
