Carter Lumber is hiring a full-time Yard Assistant to assist contractors and do-it-yourselfers with order selection and loading, pull and stage materials for pickup or delivery, maintain yard inventory through cycle counts, and keep the yard organized and clean. The role uses a forklift, with training and certification support provided. Candidates should have customer service experience, a friendly personality, teamwork ability, and the ability to work outdoors in all conditions; familiarity with building materials is helpful.
