Description
The Behavior Specialist / Behavior Assistant Counselor works under a Site Supervisor in a licensed childcare or day camp facility, providing group programming, behavior management, direct supervision of children, health checks, incident documentation, safety inspections, and coordination with parents and facility staff. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least two years of experience including one year with children with special needs, strong communication and customer-service skills, and completion of specified child-care training and CPR/First Aid certifications. The position involves significant physical activity, outdoor and indoor work, and a Level II background screening and drug test.
