Intel is hiring a Yield Development Engineer in its Logic Technology Development organization to improve semiconductor manufacturing yield across leading-edge logic technology nodes. The role analyzes fab process, defect, electrical, and other big data; develops statistical, machine learning, multivariate, AI/ML, and visualization tools; identifies root-cause yield limiters and anomalies; drives process changes and yield projections; supports new product introduction, design-technology co-optimization, design of experiments, measurement recipes, manufacturability, and production debugging. The position requires a Ph.D. in a semiconductor science-related STEM field and at least two years of experience with advanced semiconductor devices and process flow. It is an on-site experienced-hire role based in Hillsboro, Oregon, with an additional location in Austin, Texas.
