Description
The YMCA of Metropolitan Washington is hiring a part-time Group Leader – School Age Programs at the YMCA at Calomiris to support before- and after-school programs during the school year. The role assists the Site Director with daily operations, delivers age-appropriate activities, establishes routines and behavior expectations, ensures participant safety, and communicates with families. Candidates must be at least 18, have a high school diploma or GED, obtain a Child Development Associate credential within 18 months, and hold or obtain CPR and First Aid certification, along with required health and background screening documentation. Compensation is $17.50–$18.00 per hour, with benefits including retirement contributions, a 403(b) plan, free YMCA membership, professional development, and paid leave.
