Description
Action for Children is hiring a full-time Young Person’s Practitioner in Ellon, Aberdeenshire, with a hybrid arrangement combining outreach work and working from home. The role provides intensive one-to-one and group support to children and young people aged 11–18 at risk of serious offending or criminal exploitation, helping them reconnect with education, training, or employment and supporting families and partner agencies. The post is initially funded for 12 months, with continued funding expected for Years 2 and 3, and requires relevant social care or early-years qualifications, practical experience, safeguarding knowledge, caseload management, and the ability to travel across a rural catchment.
