Description
The Youth Development Associate serves as the primary staff member for Catholic Charities’ After School Program, providing academic support, homework help, and enrichment instruction to elementary-age students in a group of 15. The role may work with younger students as a generalist or with older students as a specialist in areas such as arts, music, crafting, social skills, or STEM. It is a per diem position of up to 15 hours per week during the school year, with possible summer hours, and includes attendance, lesson planning, achievement documentation, and data collection. A high school diploma and training or experience in instruction are required; college is preferred, and bilingual Spanish capability is a plus.
