The Boys and Girls Clubs of Silicon Valley is hiring a part-time Youth Development Programmer for up to 25 hours per week in an on-site role in San Jose, California. The position supervises and mentors youth in safe, inclusive after-school and expanded-learning settings, facilitates educational and extracurricular activities, manages classrooms, maintains records, collaborates with families and community partners, and responds to emergencies. Required qualifications include NCLB certification or 48 transferable units, a Department of Justice and FBI background check, age 18 or older, and willingness to obtain First Aid certification; experience with students, after-school programs, sports coaching, theater, or special education is preferred. The salary is $24.00 per hour, with benefits including educational reimbursement, a health membership, paid sick leave, and extracurricular discounts.
