The Salvation Army is hiring a seasonal Program Coordinator in Houston, Texas. The role plans, implements, supervises, and evaluates youth development programs supporting academic success, healthy lifestyles, good character, and citizenship; may oversee special programs and events; and may supervise other Youth Development Professionals when the coordinator is absent. Responsibilities include youth preparation, program development and implementation, and facility and equipment management. Applicants need a high school diploma or GED, with related children- and youth-work experience preferred or a commitment to complete specified professional development training. The position requires first aid and CPR knowledge, safety awareness, communication, teamwork, and the ability to work in indoor and outdoor recreational settings.
