Description
The Youth Program Assistant will lead and support education-centered after-school and summer programs for K–5th-grade participants, including homework and academic assistance, fitness, reading, arts and crafts, STEM/STEAM, character development, and nutrition. The role is predominantly in-person at the Norman Commons site in Austin, Texas, with virtual programming as needed, and requires program preparation, documentation, safety supervision, and an inclusive environment. Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States, at least 18 years old, working toward a high school diploma, and able to work Monday through Friday, preferably 2:30–6:15. The position pays $19.65 per hour and includes paid sick leave, paid holidays, retirement benefits, professional development, and other employee benefits.
