MercyFirst is hiring a full-time, onsite Youth Support Counselor in Bayshore, New York to supervise and provide emotional support to girls ages 13–17 in a residential group home. The role follows a strengths-based, trauma-informed approach, maintains safe routines, documents youth activities, supports independent living and homework, assists with transportation, and may require evening and overnight shifts. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; one year of related experience with children or youth is preferred. The position pays $20 per hour plus a $3 per hour differential and includes a $1,000 hiring incentive after 500 worked hours, along with medical, dental, and vision insurance and other benefits.
