Required Previous Experiences: 5+ years of experience building or operating large-scale distributed systems on the request path with strong latency and reliability requirements
Preferred Qualifications: Strong programming skills in Rust, TypeScript, Go, or similar languages
Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, object storage, HTTP/API gateways, edge computing, or service-oriented architectures
Experience designing and operating high-throughput APIs, including authentication, routing, rate limiting, and backward-compatible API evolution
Understanding of reliability and observability practices, including monitoring, alerting, performance tuning, and incident response
Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to explain technical decisions and coordinate across teams
Comfort working with AI coding tools in a daily development workflow
Experience with the S3 API surface, Cloudflare Workers, Durable Objects, or edge computing platforms
