Bachelor of Science in Optics, Physics, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering
Required Previous Experiences
8+ years of technical program management and manufacturing process development experience delivering hardware products, or equivalent engineering experience with demonstrated program leadership
Experience taking a module or system from concept through qualification and into mass production
Direct experience leading contract manufacturers and component suppliers, including on-site build support
Experience owning hardware program schedules, including tooling lead times, long-lead components, and qualification campaigns
Experience with NPI processes, phase-gate reviews, BOM and ECO management, and build readiness mechanisms
Preferred Qualifications
Master of Science in an engineering discipline or an MBA
Experience with optical components, ophthalmic or prescription lenses, optical coatings, and optical metrology
Prior program leadership on a head-worn display, camera module, or other optics-intensive consumer or defense product
Working knowledge of optical manufacturing processes, including injection molding, lamination, die cutting, CNC machining, coating, and active alignment
Experience with capacity modeling, discrete-event simulation, or manufacturing analytics platforms
PMP or Lean Six Sigma certification
Experience standing up a new production line or qualifying a new supplier from scratch
