Minimum Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Science, Tooling & Mold Design, or a related engineering field.
Required Previous Experiences: Experience using 3D CAD modeling software to create, modify, and interpret mechanical components and engineering drawings.
Experience applying fundamental engineering principles, including statics, dynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and strength of materials.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with plastic injection tooling design, stamping dies, or precision machining fixtures.
Exposure to injection molding flow simulation tools or structural/thermal FEA tools.
Familiarity with polymer materials, metal forming, or precision manufacturing processes.
Understanding of GD&T principles and basic metrology or measurement systems.
Experience using data analysis or scripting tools to analyze experimental data.
Curiosity, structured problem-solving skills, and effective collaboration in a multidisciplinary team.
