The Aerospace Corporation is hiring an RPO Software Developer/Analyst, Member of Technical Staff/Senior Member of Technical Staff – Flight Mechanics, to develop and integrate multidisciplinary rendezvous and proximity operations analysis capabilities. The role involves flight dynamics tool development, software architecture, customer requirement analysis, AI/ML/RL-enabled modeling, operational concepts, and contested-space mission evaluation. It is a full-time position based in El Segundo, California; Chantilly, Virginia; or Colorado Springs, Colorado, with an in-person work model requiring four or more onsite days per week and remote flexibility. The position requires an MS degree, 0–1 years of industry experience, C++ and Python proficiency, relevant space-mission or flight-mechanics experience, domestic travel, and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.
