Joliet Junior College is hiring a part-time Adjunct Instructor, Library Technical Assistant to teach one or more library-related courses for one semester. The role is fully online, reports to the Department Chair, and requires a master’s degree in Library and/or Information Science from an ALA-accredited program, at least three years of professional library experience, and expertise with instructional technologies. Compensation is $1,161 per contact hour for candidates with a bachelor’s or master’s degree and $1,220 per contact hour for candidates with a Ph.D., Ed.D., or J.D. Preferred qualifications include community-college teaching experience, online-course experience, course development, and academic or special-library experience.
