Cape Fear Academy is hiring part-time After-School Program Assistants for the 2026–2027 school year, starting August 2026, at its Wilmington campus. The role provides a limited mid-day schedule from Monday through Friday, 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM, with flexible scheduling and occasional longer days. Assistants work under a program coordinator to mentor students in grades PK–8, lead recreational and creative activities, supervise student groups, and maintain a safe and organized environment. Applicants must be at least 18, have experience working with children, and be energetic, reliable, and communicative; an associate’s or bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required. The position pays a competitive hourly rate and requires standing or walking for most of the shift, respectful communication with children, and occasional lifting of up to 30 pounds.
