Dialpad is hiring an Applied Scientist to conduct research and development for autonomous voice agents and features involving transcribed voice and chat data. The role develops and evaluates NLP and machine learning algorithms, manages large textual datasets, builds LLM-based reasoning, multilingual, multimodal, and agent features, and collaborates with engineering, product, and design teams to deploy models in production. The position reports to the Manager of the NLP team and can be based in the Kitchener, Ontario office, with a target base salary of $139,000–$175,750 CAD.
