Description
The Disability Support Services Manager serves as the primary contact for students, parents, faculty, and staff, supervises Learning Disability Specialists, DSS Coordinators, and support personnel, reviews disability documentation, assigns students to coordinators, advocates for student needs, leads orientation workshops, and assists with accommodations. The role requires knowledge of disability laws, leadership and administrative skills, advocacy, Microsoft Office proficiency, and the ability to interpret student disability documentation. A master's degree in a related field and at least two years of experience working with high school or college students with disabilities are required, along with supervisory experience.
