Description

The Assistant Director of Academic Advising leads the Academic Resource Center’s advising team and serves as the primary liaison for advising strategies across multiple CHSSA academic departments. Reporting to the CHSSA Director of Academic Advising, the role supervises up to five Academic Advisors, provides direct advising for approximately 100–150 students, supports orientation, registration, enrollment, retention, persistence, and major declaration, and helps implement curriculum, policy, and process changes. The position requires a master’s degree in a related field, three years of related higher-education experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and familiarity with advising software and enterprise platforms.
